I have been enjoying your music & dance videos on YouTube immensely. I discovered you through a very devoted fan who translates your songs & those of a select few others and puts English subtitles on them. Her name is AmarisRike . She's a young student studying in Holland. Her English is not polished & I know she must work very hard capturing the beautiful lyrics of your songs in English translations.
I follow/collect all sorts of JPOP & JROCK music. I recognize & respect the fact that you are an artist. I've also noted that you don't get the great number of hits/views some other less-talented performers receive. Fame & popularity are fleeting. Art satisfies the soul & lives on forever. I've seen some artists I like (Diago Stardust) radically change their stage presence & suddenly become much more popular, some might say more successful. That's the kind of choices we all have to make in life.
I'm an older man now. In my late 20s, I chose to stop pursuing a career as a writer & took the financially safe route of becoming a businessman. I'll never know if I made the right decision. I made money & achieved a comfortable life & retirement. However, I am left to wonder what I might have accomplished in life & how much more satisfying life would have been if I'd stayed true to my art. I might have failed & starved. But had I succeeded, my life would have been much more satisfying. At some point in life, you may have to make a similar decision. I just want to say that I see your fire & passion and wish you well. In the unlikely event that you are ever able to read this or have it translated for you, I would only hope that you would reward my simple offer of honest advice by sending an email to AmarisRike. She works not for money but for love by helping artists she admires & loves be appreciated on the other side of the world by people like myself in the United States of America. Good luck. May you live long, prosper & find artistic fulfillment.
