Born in 1976, Yusuke Iseya started modeling in 1996 while studying in the Fine Art Department at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. Since then he has gained attention both domestically and internationally, appearing in fashion magazines and commercials as well as in the Prada collection. He debuted as an actor in Hirokazu Koreeda's film Wonderful Life ('98).

I was ber impressed with Iseya's work on Miike's Sukiyaki Western Django. The camera loves him. I'm a newly aquired fan, how and where can i get more of both their movies and which are worth watching?

Iseya Yusuke has to be one of the most talented Japanese actors I have ever seen. He has such a wide range of roles that he's done and they're all so full of character, he's absolutely brilliant. I'm so surprised that only a few people know of him. He's so much more respectable than the singer-actor-model-designer-talkshowhosts who spit out half-assed works to scrape up as much money and fame as possible. I wish more people would realize how amazing actor Iseya-san is...
I'm going to continue following his work. <3

I saw is acting in Blindness. He was amazing. Has great english as well. I'd like to see him in another movie.

I really enjoyed his performance in Blindness and his English is excellent. I look forward to seeing Yusuke-san in more films that debutes in the United States. Hopefully, someday, as a male lead.
