Park Yong Woo is a great great actor ! Watching him for the ist time in Je Jung Won and have been googling his other shows . Every pain, sorrow, humility, love was captured in his expressions to the extent that I can cry with him. Don't need a good looking face to put a good show together. His face grows on you through every scene. In the end he is considered suave and good looking to me. I love korean dramas for fine acting, music scores and the way every scene is built up, every detail captured. He and Hye Jin make a good pair, so much pain going through and love triumphs at the end i hope, cos i am still watching epi 28.

I disagree. He;s an expressive actor. Just watch him in JJW.
Lee Min Ho - that';s robotic acting.

What? No rewards for Jehoongwoon? He was AMAZING in that drama, brought out his character so WELL, the humility, the kind heart. My goodness! It;s a travesty! And this drama is underrated!

Hello. This is the 4th Korean drama I've seen and I MUST tell you guys, that Jejoonwon has touched my heart deeply. Jejoongwon not only have an amazing script, beautiful cinematography and intense plot - it was the actor himself - Park Yong Woo that made me fall head over heels for his character Hwang Jung. If you watch him in Jejoongwon, you will know why I am gushing so much about him (Hi Jenny - I copies what you wrote becoz I shared the very same sentiment with you about this drama & for actor Park Yong Woo)...till now I smile to myself when thinking abt the drama even while I am at my desk working. I don't know how to describe my feelings..but well the director has done a good job! It stays in my heart and yes the part when he proposed to Dr. Yu...(young Miss)...was so heart rending and touching...OMG! Anyone who feels that way, please share with me too.
I shall remember this hero all the time.

I just finished watching Jejoongwon and I must say that despite the drama having an amazing script, beautiful cinematography and wonderful plot, it was Park Yong Woo that made me fall head over heals for his character Hwang Jung. He is not the typical korean male actor in that he is not exceedingly handsome or suave; but if you watch him in Jejoongwon, you will know why I am gushing so much about him. He gave the most vulnerable, nuanced and moving performance I have ever seen in all of the korean dramas I have watched (which is a lot).
I hope all the best for his future and anyone who hasn't seen Jejoongwon....go watch it!!!

Park Yong Woo. Just his name is enough to make me appreciate over and over again his acting in Jejoongwon. I'm hooked on that drama and the scene of his marriage proposal for some reason just struck a cord in me. So emotional and heart warming. Such talent had to be discovered and shared with the world. I must watch with English, French, or Spanish subtitles, but have picked up a few Korean expressions. My next desire is to visit South Korea. It would be great to meet some of the actors (with Park Yong Woo at the top of my list), but even if that weren't possible I would love to experience this culture in its modern day setting. Park Yong Woo fabulous. Does anyone know if he speaks English or any other language(s)?

Good actor but your performance in the Great movie 'Children..' was weak. You didn't put much effort in your acting in that film. Your expression was all smiley when the movie was meant to be intense.

I watched Jejoongwon again for the 2nd time. This time it's with my husband who got hooked into watching Korean dramas. We watched with English subtitle. We both enjoy K dramas esp historical dramas like Jejoongwon. A lot of events in the story are based on facts in history. Even though we;re not Koreans, we enjoy K dramas more, much more because they are very wholesome, family oriented & teach a lot about values & principles.Jejoongwon has made me want to research & read up on Korean history & how wetern medicine got started there.
