Plot
"Woman of the Crime Lab" follows a female lab agent as she goes about her work. Mariko Sakaki(Yasuko Sawaguchi), the main character, practices forensic medicine at the crime laboratory of the Kyoto Prefecture Police Department. With the complicated relationships involving a professional detective who makes light of the crime lab, the detective sergeant who is Mariko’s ex-husband and his new lover, the show unfolds as both an exploration of the cases and a human drama.
