How wonderful it is to see Wei Tang returning to the film world after a two year absence.
Those who witnessed the beauty play the role of Wong Chia Chi in the film ‘Lust, Caution’ will most definitely have seen the talent and potential the young actress possesses. However, since the Beijing authorities saw fit to blacklist their rising star due directly to Wei Tang’s controversial first major role, we have barely begun to get to know the exciting Chinese Actress.
Wei Tang’s extraordinary presence as an already major contributor to world cinema has rightfully helped break the taboo that held the actress and aspiring Writer/Director in her unfortunate past circumstances.
Now, after escaping the boundaries of the People’s Republic; the somewhat mysterious Wei Tang has for perhaps obvious reasons opened another chapter in her career as a new citizen of Hong Kong.
