Plot
Overworked Carol Cheng moves to the countryside, where she meets greedy swindlers Ng Mang Tat and his nephew. Meanwhile, a thief, badly injured, escapes from a botched jewelry heist, and ends up hiding out in her home. Tony Leung Ka Fai is Carol's boyfriend who coincidentally is the detective responsible for the case.
