Kenji, a genius in mathematics, works part-time as a programmer for the virtual world Oz on the internet. His senior at the company is Natsuki Shinohara, whom Kenji has a crush on. One day, Natsuki offers to pay Kenji if he would act as her fiance on a trip to visit her family in a rural village.
When they arrive at the village Kenji is introduced as her fiance. Kenji feels uncomfortable surrounded by her relatives but plays along. Then a message arrives for Kenji from an unknown sender describing a cryptic puzzle that will cause the world to be involved in a serious crisis with the virtual world of Oz. This was a wonderful movie to watch. The story was compelling and elements of Mamoru Hosoda's Digimon movies can be seen.
Good to watch with the family and worth atleast a glance.
