first saw her in Mei-chan no shitsuji and thought that she was cute
then i saw her in Detective Conan as Ran.. her acting there is quite poor but it's still good
..then recently, i saw her as Maho in BECK movie.. dang, she nailed that role! her english is awesome as well!

I've first seen her as Maho in BECK and I think she really fits as Maho. And I also love her as Ran too. Shiori and Junpei have nice chemistry, much more than Shun and Tomoka. (:

@becktodiffer she spoke in an australian accent because, like what it says on the profile, she was born in australia. she probably can't fix her accent ._. english is english and if she's a fluent english speaker, then she got the part.

can japanese people not distinguish accents.. in d beck movie shes supposed to b american bt its totally obvious that she speaks in an australaian acent.. its such a good movie.. but this inaccuracy is so diasappointing

What is completely disappointing is the utterly INACCURATE accent she used when her character spoke in English. The character is a japanese who grew up in New York - America/USA - BUT Shiori spoke in an Australian accent. How can the director or herself allow this to get onto the movie? This is as good as saying every oriental person is from Japan. Yeah, seriously now. But ok, she is cute and her acting is typical. Nothing compelling.
