Shaolin Girl is a sequel to the 2001 Stephen Chow Chinese comedy Shaolin Soccer. The sequel is a Japanese production, with Stephen Chow working as a producer of the film.

Rin returns to Japan after undergoing nine years of training in order to take over her grandfather’s Shaolin kung-fu dojo in China. She ends up helping out a sport science university’s lacrosse team.
