Plot

Pil-seong Jo (Kim Yun-Seok) is a detective in the small county of Yeosan, Chungnam. One day, an escapee from prison named Ki-tae Song (Jeong Kyeong-Ho) enters the small county. The escapee then proceeds to steal the detective's honor, reputation, and self-respect. Yet, Pil-seong is also a detective that doesn't know how to quit as he pursues the prison escapee.

Notes

"Running Turtle" opened #1 at the South Korean box office selling 437,838 tickets on 490 screens (27.2% of all ticket sales) during its opening June 12th - June 14th weekend.
Through its theatrical run the movie sold a total of 3 million tickets, grossing 20.6 billion ₩ (staying in the top ten for 7 weeks).
