Plot
Eight-year old Shinpei loves both drawing and Sayuri, a deaf girl whom he promises marriage in the future. However, Eizo, a ten-year old boy, also had his heart set on Sayuri.
When Shinepi, now 20, moves to Tokyo to pursue his dream of being a painter, he desperately misses Sayuri and finds himself unable to paint.
