[edit] Plot
"National Athlete" is centered around the joy and sorrow of the Korean national ski jumpers (based on a true story). In 1996, the county of Muju in South Korea bid to host a future Winter Olympic event. The IOC judges responsible for picking the host city wondered how Korea could host the Winter Olympics without having a ski jumping team. Because of this, a Korean ski jumping team was quickly formed.
