Plot
"Every village has it's fool", this is basically what happens in a Miracle of the giving fool (BA:BO), Seung-ryong Cha Tae-Hyun at a young age suffers an accident with his father. His father get killed but he survives with some cerebral injuries. At age 27 he has the intelligence of a six-year-old child. Some years after the accident, his mother dies and he sees himself alone in the world with her younger sister Jee-nin, who simply sees her brother as something disgusting and hateful. The movie begins with Seung-ryong waiting for something, or someone who finally arrives, after some years. She's Ji-ho, a childhoods Seung-ryong love. He makes his living selling the most famous toasts in his village in front of his sister school, that way being able to "keep an eye on her".
Resuming, it's a romance, a story that tells us how strong and deep all kinds of love can be...

Superb movie! Definitely worth a watch. This movie has a unique plot, being more focused on the love between family than the typical love story, though it does have that as well. It makes us reflect and to think about what is truly important to us, an important live lesson.
This is a movie that is bound to bring tears to your eyes, with the solid acting from the cast, especially the leads. I will have to say, Cha Tae-Hyeon played the role of the village fool really well, and it can be said that this movie was carried on mostly by him. The rest of the cast did a good job as well, though sadly because of a sub par script they did not have as much of an opportunity to showcase their talent as Cha Tae-Hyeon.
Ha Ji Won, as usual, is her amazingly beautiful self, and she just exudes charm at her appearance. I found that her acting was appropriate in this movie, though as I mentioned before she did not have much chance to challenge herself in this role because of way the script of the movie was written.
There are definitely some plot holes as well, though I will leave them for you to find out once you have watched this movie, because you really should! I give this movie a 9/10

This awesome, so brilliant, what a wonderfull story.
But, I am still regret on the ending. Poor Seung Ryong...He is a magnificent man, eventhought he is like that.
Until now, I am still thinking about if there is a happy ending for this movie.

I loved this movie, but I hated the ending. First of all, it really moved me quite a lot emotionally. Near the end of the movie I sat with tears in my eyes, well, perhaps I'm a bit emotional :P The actors play their parts brilliantly, at times really stunning performances. Especially Tae-hyun Cha is doing a wonderful job with such a difficult character to play. How does he manage to smile so big for 1h 41min steady (+ the filming of course being longer)?!
I strongly recommend watching this movie. Gave it a 8.5 but would probably give it more if not for the ending that kinda ruined it all for me...
