Biography
Lee Min-Ho was born in Heukseok-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul, South Korea on June 22, 1987. His family consists of his mother, father, and one older sister. As a young child, Lee Min-Ho hoped to become a football (soccer) player, but an injury in the 5th grade of elementary school ended those dreams. However, Lee Min-Ho still keeps up with football and mentions Nal-do Ho as his favorite player.
In the 2nd year of his high school career, Lee Min-Ho turned his attention to acting. By the time of Lee Min-Ho's senior year in high school he joined Starhaus Entertainment with the help of an acquaintance. After going through training, Min-ho started auditioning for roles and landed smaller roles in several television dramas. His major breakthough came with Min-ho landing the lead role in the KBS2 drama "Boys Over Flowers" as Ku Jun-pyo. The television series became immensely popular and regularly received ratings of over 30% in South Korea. Lee Min-Ho is currently majoring in Film & Art at Konkuk University.
In 2011 Lee Min-Ho starred in popular drama series "City Hunter." The drama was based off a Japanese manga by Tsukasa Hojo. His co-star in the drama was Park Min-Young. They knew each other for about for 5 years having previously worked together in the KBS2 2007 drama I am Sam. According to management agencies for Lee Min-Ho and Park Min-Young they developed feelings for each other while filming City Hunter. After the completion of "City Hunter" the couple dated more seriously and are now involved as couple.[1]

- The scariest moment for Lee Min-Ho was when he got into a car accident at the age of 20. Min-ho was hospitalized for 6 months.

My family and I finished watching City Hunter and absolutely loved it. We live in America, so there aren't very many Asian actors and actresses on television and movies here, which is such a shame! Your performance and that of the other actors and actresses were incredible. The plot was excellent and never got sloppy for a moment. I know you must be enjoying tremendous success in Korea and Asian, but I hope Asian stars like you will be seen more in America, too. Regardless, I am definitely going to start searching for and watching more Asian movies and dramas that are available on the internet or DVD's. You are incredibly handsome and a fine actor. Please continue to work hard. You have such a bright future ahead, so please stay grounded and do not get caught up in anything bad. In America here, we Asian Americans are waiting for an Asian star to break out in a huge way. There are Jackie Chan and Jet Li, but they never made leading man status--even in their own movies. As a Asian woman, I know Asian men are handsome, funny, kind, tough, and sexy, but Hollywood still does not seem to see them as that. To Hollywood, they either know martial arts, are nerdy, or goofy. I know you are and will be even bigger with or without Hollywood, but I hope Hollywood realizes your talent, too.

He's by far my favorite Korean actor. He's so attractive xD and I LOVED LOVED city hunter. I REALLY REALLY hope for a season 2!! I recently watched "City Hunter", not bad acting. I only dislike that feminine image which allot of the most popular Asian guys now seem to adapt and portray. I think they should stop dressing him like a girl and stop doing his hair like a girl with all the make up. I watched him in an interview where he stroked back his hair like a female every 30 seconds. Ladies, u might think this is sexy but hell no to fighting over makeup and the mirror with my male lover or husband. I know it's his label which gives him this image in order to make money, yet there are things in life worth far more than $. Don't sell your soul for goal and fans try and remember he is only human. I hate when ppl profess their love to ppl they don't even know. Have some interiority and remember acting is just that, you are in love with the character he plays but you have no idea who Lee Min Ho really is. So just be a fan and show your support respectfully. He is no hero in real life, just a talented, skinny, long legged, feminine, Korean actor. Wish him success

Lee Min Ho...=) one of the best actors i've seen on TV. I really love him because he isn't fake like most of the other celebrities. His personality is very down-to-earth and honest, and from seeing his interviews, it seems that he has very ethnical moral values.
I absolutely adored him in City Hunter! I've been waiting a long time for a plot like this, and Min Ho acted out that role perfectly. Action scenes were swift, clean, and cool. SEXY NINJA STYLE FTW!!!!! This guy is so modest, and I appreciate the fact that he doesn't act arrogant and has a conservative fashion sense. Definitely my all time favourite korean celebrity! <3

I just finished City Hunter and I love it. It's a very slick production. In fact, I loved the different pieces of music that were used for the different scenarios. The selection of music was very good. It made the show more polished.
Your acting in City Hunter was very good. I had not expected it. I thought it was just another "pretty boy" show. I like the way you were able to switch (your role) from being playful to aloof. Well, maybe now I'll go watch your other shows.

Although I have seen you in Boys Before Flowers, it isn't until Personal Taste that I suddenly got this feeling to see more of your movies/dramas. I think your acting in personal taste is sensational, I mean It's really hard to pretend to be gay. I seldom watch t.v. most especially soap operas. I saw my mom watching the rerun of Boys Over Flower and I just got hooked! Lee Min Ho is deserving to win the best actor for his portrayal of jun pyo. It was like Richard Gere in Pretty Woman. I am not big on chick flicks but this one takes the cake! He was so believable and the role fits him like a glove.
Well done Lee Min Ho! Keep your feet on the ground and you will go places.
You are so cute and just so beautifully made by God.
