Mi-suk Lee entered TBC (Taegu Broadcasting Company) in 1978. She went to study in Japan in 1989. Attained a masters in journalism at Koryu University in 1995. She opened her own management company in 1990, and established a scholarship foundation named after herself in 1997. Worked intensely in film during the 80s, but suddenly stopped all her activity after marriage. Her reentry in the scene was through 'An Affair', which has a 10 year gap from her last film.
