Born July 3, 1949 in Shisuoka, Masato Harada is a director who began his career as a film critic. He made his first feature in 1979: “Goodbye Flickmania: Indian Summer”. He moved to Los Angeles afterwards where he worked on Japanse versions of popular films such as “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back”.
