Plot
A drama about a judge who is seemingly-undependable, but is filled with a strong sense of professional mission. Misawa Kyosuke, a 36-year-old city-bred judge, is transferred to a southern island where he is the only judge. He is forced to handle every case from family matters to murder cases. The drama features how the young judge builds up his career through his interaction with the local people and their domestic problems. --NHK
