Bio
Jin-pyo Park was born in Seoul, 1966. He graduated from the Film Studies Department of Chungang University College of Art in 1989. He has worked as a producer-director of documentaries for SBS-TV from 1991 and for I-TV from 1997. In 2001 he was promoted to head the I-TV documentary team. He was awarded the Korean Broadcasting Commission Grand Prix in 1999. As a student, he made the 16mm short films 'Escape from Seoul(1987, b&w)' and 'Learning the World(1988, color)'. His many TV documentaries include 'We Want to Know', 'The Third Eye', 'Dangerous 55 Minutes', 'Report on Rebellion in the Ant World', 'Angel or Devil: The Korean Twin-Sisters Homicide in Los Angeles', 'The Pacific Deadline', and a co-production with Chinese, Japanese and Russian television companies on the ancient kingdom of Balhae.

I just watched "Closer to Heaven". Good story, good script, good acting.
I like to watch films that challenge me to see life from different perspectives.
Good job and keep working producing more good films. Looking forward to it!
