Born in Tokyo in 1960, Isshin Inudo began making films during high school. Following his university studies, he began directing commercials, winning awards in Japan and abroad. At the same time he continued to make independent films. He has published a children's book which he adapted and directed for TV Tokyo. He also wrote the screenplays for OSAKA STORY (1999) and BACK FROM THE DEAD (2002). His filmography includes Everything I've Been Told a Hundred Times (1993), The Life of a Goldfish (1993), TWO PEOPLE TALKING (1996) and ACROSS A GOLD PRAIRIE (1999).
