Takao Osawa portrays elementary teacher Takayuki who is gradually losing his eyesight. He tries to hide the truth from his girlfriend Yoko (Yuriko Ishida) who has flown to Mongolia. However, she somehow finds out about his distressing fate and returns to comfort him.
