Plot
n “Doremifasoladido” high schooler Jung-won ([[Cha Ye-Ryeon]) works at an amusement park, dressed up as Dragon cartoon character. Then one day, a guy standing among his friends twists her dragon mask around, causing her to fall flat on her back. Shortly afterwards, she locates the guy still laughing among his friends about what just transpired. Jung-won then proceeds to pour a drink over his head.
A few days later Jung-won is horsing around with her brother on the top floor of their home. They notice that a new family moved into the house next to theirs. Jung-won then gets a sickening feeling as she notices the young guy in their family is the same guy that twisted her dragon mask around in the amusement park. His name is Eun-kyu (Jang Keun-Suk), a popular high school student that fronts the band “Doremifasoladido.”
The next evening, Jung-won attempts to sneak out of her house when Eun-kyo notices her from his house. He calls out to Jung-won and threatens to tell her parents unless she agrees to walk him from his high school to his practice studio for at least one week. Jung-won, eager to get to work and not have her parents find out, agrees to the deal.
When Jung-won accompanies Eun-kyo to his band’s practice session, she then notices an old familiar face. He’s Hee-won (Jeong Ui-Cheol), the band’s bassist and a former friend of Jung-won. They were actually close childhood friends for 10 years, until Jung-won unknowingly reported Hee-won’s father to the police. That incident ruined Hee-won’s family and he has never forgiven her since. Now, Hee-won attempts to drive a wedge between Jung-won and Eun-kyu, as the three friends and former friends encounter stormy times ahead.

I love koreans so much. I enjoyed watching there films especially when it is a love story. Every time i watch thier movies, i can't help myself but to cry. That's normal because every one of us are experincing that thing. Keep watching DOREMIFASOLASIDO.....

This movie is worth watching if you are not particular with how deep the story is and how well the characters were portrayed. I mean I admit that this movie lacks substance and it is truly very shallow. The typical cute love story which is by the way VERY VERY IMPOSSIBLE to happen in real life. But I have to admit that I have watched this movie a hundred times and it doesn't fail to make me smile everytime. Cause maybe this movie is shallow or lacks everything but it's a feel good movie. I recommend all of you to watch this if you're not feeling well or suffered from a heartbreak or just simply sad. I guarantee that you'll feel good right after. I mean who doesn't want something like Eun Gyu as a boyfriend? someone who will love you that much and will go crazy if you're not with him.. Oh i love Eun Gyu very much. And by the way, the songs are amazing and Eun Gyu's voice is captivating.:)

I agree that this movie is not really the best that you can get out of Korean movie industry. The story line was fast paced you won't even realized that there already had a huge skip in the supposedly step by step development in the story. There were a lot of confusing, quite misleading angles and the actors were not that great either. Ask me of the not so pleasant sides of this movie and I can probably give you thousands...however, I am not saying that it is not at all worth watching.
"DOREMIFASOLASIDO" actually was pretty entertaining in a typically-cute-teenage-romantic way. If you won't pay too much attention on the depth of the story and the technicalities, then you can somehow find a little dose of fun watching it. It was not that bad to be honest. Plus factor would be because Jang Geun-Seok was undoubtedly cute. Maybe if it were a series rather than a movie, the story could have been polished way better.

Either I am too weird to fully understand this movie, or the movie is too weird to be fully understood. I am a hardcore fan of Geun-seok Jang and am not judging the acting which was pretty good given the plot, but the storyline seems like a series of stills simply put one after the other, without order or sense. Every issue is simply superficially touched and never elaborated. When did these two actually fall in love, apart from dating a couple of times? How can someone become mentally ill after suffering a heartbreak? What kind of accident makes you into a deranged kid who can be recalled by a love shock? What happened to the suicidal friend and his desire to end his life? If he was so devasted as to basically blackmail his friend, when did the change happen so that he finally let her go happily ever after with his friend/rival? What's with the side stories, the part-time job (?), Jun-won's father (seen once and never again), the kitten lost and found... what a weird cocktail!
I understand the need to tell a long story in short, but I believe this movie simply opens up 100 questions and answers none. Characters are treated so superficially in their developement throughout the story that they end up being unbelievable and unrealistic.
What a waste of young talents.

.i never had thoughts on watching this movie at the first instance..
yet after watching, beyond doubt, it was worth the watch!!
i ran out of tears!! haha..
for all the fans of JANG GEUN SUK out der, watch his "Baby and Me" movie,
he played as a young dad there! another remarkable movie of him... trust me, its worth a watch!! hehe
jang geun suk's acting, especialy when he lost his memory, was spectacle!! he should have won an award for this atleast.. haha...well then, hope to see for movies of him in the future,,

The first half of 2008 has been one of the more disappointing seasons for Korean films in recent memory. Outside of “The Chaser” and “Forever the Moment” there just hasn’t been many releases to get excited about. A movie representative of the drudgery that has been released so far this year is the completely inane “Doremifasoladido.” The film does possess a catchy title (taken from the fictional band name in the movie), but besides the title there just isn’t anything else to like about the film.
Cha Ye-Ryeon stood out in “A Bloody Aria” and “Muoi: The Portrait of a Legend,” by giving performances worthy of praise. Exactly why she picked “Doremifasoladido” for her next project is a pure head scratcher. Although she’s only 23 years old, she was still too old to play a high school student as she tried to do in this movie. Her counterpart, Jang Geun-Suk, was OK until the final portions of the movie when he seemed completely out of his element. The third member of the troika, Jeong Ui-Cheol, was the worst of the bunch (imagine Daniel Henny or Keanu Reeves on a bad day).
Exactly how bad is “Doremifasoladido” you may ask? Well the answer would be mind numbingly bad. The movie comes with a completely preposterous set-up, melodrama on the level of a bad soap opera, an actor (Ui-cheol Jeong) intent on challenging Daniel Henney’s crown as the stiffest actor in Korea, and a runtime that goes on way too long. To top all that off, the music played in the movie drifted between completely bland to painfully corny. Make no doubt about it, “Doremifasolasido” stinks like an old decrepit outhouse in the countryside of South Korea. Phew.
