This movie entered the cinemas in the same year as 'Il Mare', actually a few months earlier. Ditto is also about two parallel dimensions where the main characters are separated by time. Since the story is told by two students of different decades to one another, it makes the story not only intimate and personal but also becomes a witness to cultural and political changes within a country throughout time.
I, personally, liked the two main characters played by Ji-Tae Yu and Ha-Neul Kim. The movie isn't a tearjerker, although you might be touched by the story. I would recommend this movie to anyone that is up for a drama movie with a delicate dilemma.
It's funny how knowing the future makes one stick to it regardless of ones happiness...
