One film of his that isn't here is called The Ground. The film was obviously filmed in Cambodia and was probably
one of Atsushi Muroga's early films. It was quite low budget but what struck me as fascinating was the real life background of Cambodia circa 1998. I think that was the year Hun Sen took the country in a bloody coup. The film's
worth watching if not for just the novelty of seeing what Cambodia was like before "Invasion Of The Backpackers".
Scenes that appeared to use real landmines exploding really woke me up to the horrible threat landmines pose for men, women, and children just trying to walk around and have a happy life. Ka-Boom!!!
